2017 BEF Theme

​This year, the Brownwood Education Foundation has selected The Lion Inside for our theme!  Author Rachel Bright has written a delightful children’s book that tells how everyone, no matter their size or circumstance, has a lion-size voice inside of them!  The BEF wants to help every teacher and student within the Brownwood Independent School District to find his or her roar!  The best way we know to reach our students is through our teachers, so we support the BISD faculty through innovative teaching grants and Teaching in Excellence awards.  Our thanks to Rachel Bright for allowing us the use of her theme this year!  Together, we can all find our distinct ROAR!!
