Teacher Appreciation

​Given the Brownwood Education Foundation’s focus on impacting the students of our District, we realize that the most interaction with and influence on students comes from their daily interaction with teachers.  We fully support Brownwood ISD’s efforts to put the most qualified and effective teachers in the classroom.  As a Foundation, we strive to support those teachers in a myriad of ways.  Everyone, regardless of their position, should feel appreciated for the job they do, but so often teachers are bombarded with the negative or are forced to focus on needs rather than successes.  We want those teachers to hear loudly and clearly just how very much they are appreciated for consistently going above and beyond for our students on a daily basis!  Each semester, the Foundation underwrites several Teacher Appreciation efforts.  Whether it is a relatively small gesture of a pat on the back and cold drink on a warm afternoon or a larger show of appreciation such as hot meal served by our board members, we want the faculty and staff of BISD to know that we truly appreciate them!!
