GRANTS-TO-TEACHERS APPLICATION

Mission Statement: A community of alumni and friends providing support funding for Brownwood Independent School district activities and experiences which inspire a spirit of excellence among our students, teachers and peers. The foundation may also collect, administer, and distribute gifts for Brownwood Independent School District’s Educational programs and projects as designated by the donor or grantor.
Application Eligibility: Grants are limited to the BISD established curriculum framework for professional personnel working directly with children, including teachers, counselors, librarians and nurses. Applicants may apply individually or as a grade-level or subject matter team.
Eligible Projects: All projects must offer an innovative, creative approach. Projects will be reviewed for eligibility and judged on the basis of their innovation, approach and application. Funds may not replace normal funding from tax-based sources. Products purchased with grant funds become the property of the district, not the individual.
